Welcome to Kings Ridge Swim Club

Kings Ridge has been in KPW since 1978 and is managed by our members.

Northern Virginia will be moving into Phase Three of reopening as of Wednesday, July 1, 2020.We will continue to use best practices from the CDC in keeping members safe, and will be restricted under the following guidelines from the state:

Screening for COVID-19 symptoms will occur prior to entry. Members will be asked if they are currently experiencing fever (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher), or a sense of having a fever, a new cough, new shortness of breath, new chills, a new sore throat or new muscle aches that cannot be attributed to another health condition. Anyone experiencing symptoms will not be permitted in the facility. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance gate. Please stay home if you are sick!

Lap swimming will continue with 3 persons per lane with 10 feet of social distancing per swimmer if possible. However, we will be reducing the number of lanes to 3 lanes only. Members may continue to reserve those lanes but please only reserve what you need and be considerate of other members. The other half of the main pool will be open for free swim without reservations.

The diving area will also be open for free swim/dive with 10 feet of physical distance between each person while waiting to use the board. THE SLIDE WILL REMAIN CLOSED.

The shallow end will be open for free swim on the step side but we will continue to take reservations for the fence side for those families that would prefer to remain socially distanced.

We will continue to ask members to bring their own chairs, although the upper patio, back area, and baby pool will be open and available for eating in. We will have limited seating in those areas.

A unisex bathroom will be available but since social distancing cannot be maintained in the bathhouse, members are encouraged to use those facilities at home. We will continue to use the side gate and will not be collecting membership cards to decrease the hands on interactions.

The Sign-up Genius will look a little different as only reservations will be needed for lanes 4, 5, and 6 and the shallow end fence side. The Sign up will have 3 slots per lane, but that does not limit families who may want to have more in them. The shallow end will just be one sign up per family and is also not limited for members of the same household.

Guests may join you at the pool for the regular $5 a day or by buying/using a guest pass. Please try to bring exact change as we will be working from the table by the gate. Guests will be required to sign in.

The whistle will be blown at _:45 of every hour for children to clear the pool. Adults may remain swimming for another 10 mins if in a reserved space. The whistle will be blown again at _:55 for adults to clear the reserved spaces to allow for you to exit the pool before the next reservation arrives. Adults may remain in the water for the free swim areas. Please continue to use the Sign-Up Genius below if you would prefer a reserved spot. If you can not make your reservation, please delete the spot to allow others to sign up. If you have signed up for a spot in July, all reservations will be removed to allow only those that want a reservation to sign up again.

We are trying our best to accommodate as many members as possible and we are grateful to the members who have continued to support Kings Ridge and the positive feedback we have received about our efforts to provide access to the pool.

Please call or email if you have any questions or concerns.
